The MEDIEVALTILES is inspired by patterns found upon clay floor tiles from the 13th to 16th centuries It was during this medieval period that tiles were most popular. Most of the clays used to make them were rich in iron minerals giving the tiles a brick red tone. The colors for the Medieval Tiles pattern have been taken from needlework of this period.
